BLOSSOM CREEK FOUNDATION was formed to give an opportunity to individuals of all ages to learn basic horsemanship, how to care for and nurture horses, and how to excel in equestrian amateur sports.
One of our most rewarding activities is to provide world-class training opportunities and funding to emerging riders who are dedicated to competing and achieving success at national and international amateur equestrian competitions.
Matt Brown, an unranked but remarkably talented three-day event rider, has been the focus of our efforts for the past three years. In 2015, he was selected as an alternate for the Pan American Games and competed on the US silver medal winning team at Boekelo. He is currently ranked 6th in the US and 33rd in the world. In 2016, Matt and Super Socks BCF completed the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* as the highest-placed rookies. The pair was then named as reserves for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games US Eventing Team, and helped the Land Rover US Eventing Team secure their 6th place finish at the Aachen CICO3* in July.
