Soil needs: Moderately fertile, well drained, rich soil with a ph of 5.5 - 7.0.
Care: Plant established plants 12" - 15" apart. Deadhead to keep plant clean and prevent self seeding and assist with reblooming. Apply slow release plant food or water soluble every 3 weeks. Cease feeding 6 - 8 weeks prior to first frost. Cut to ground in late fall after frost.
Pests and diseases: Leaf miners.

Propagation: Stratify if sown indoors 6 - 8 weeks. Direct sow in fall. Surface sow- do not cover.
