Soil needs: Moderately fertile, well drained, rich soil with a ph of 6.5 - 7.5.

Care: Plant established plants 15" - 18" apart. Deadhead as plant may be invasive.  Drought tolerant, however, water regularly.  Do not over water.  Mulch around but do not touch plant to help retain moisture.

Pests and diseases: Root rot if conditions are wet, Powdery mildew, rust, Septoria leaf spot

Good companions: Crocusmia, Geum, Blanket Flower

Propagation: Sow indoors 6 - 8 weeks before last frost or direct sow into garden after last frost. Sprinkle seeds over soil mix and do not cover.  Keep moist.
